Republicans in Denial

Strife within a party is usually a good thing. Different viewpoints and opinions open up the opportunity for healthy discord; hopefully arriving at a consensus position that benefits all of us.
All that aside, Senators and MCs have only one thing in mind - how can I secure my re-election? They don’t really have the interests of the American people as a top priority, only their self-serving power struggle.
Yes, there are quite a few exceptions, but the vast majority of elected politicals really only care about maintaining their power.
The 2016 election clearly demonstrated that Americans were fed up with Obama, the Democrats, and the lefties’ denial of American greatness. Yet, way too many Republicans still cower over any attempt to acknowledge their ascendency. They just can’t bring themselves to flex their legislative muscles. They fear the lies of the mainstream media and fake outrage of the left and Democrats.
Get with it! Americans elected you to defend our values, not to defer to off-the-wall liberal ideology.
