Nuclear Option - Good or Bad?

The New York Times needs to make up it’s mind! Several years ago they lauded Dirty Harry for invoking the “nuclear option” for the confirmation of federal judges. Now, with the Republicans about to invoke the same option, it’s abhorent and a threat to our republic!
This seems to be a consistent thread with all the main-stream liberal media - anything the libs want is awesome, but let the conservatives propose the same legislation/rules/whatever that favors conservatism, it suddenly becomes a threat to our very existence. Just how much longer do they think they can get away with this hypocrisy?
IMHO, despite the endless lies and manipulations of the facts by the mainstream media, Americans are fed up with the Libs’ completely failed agenda.
